Stop Disbelieving
John 20:24-29
Series: Abundance | Robert Campbell
As we turn to the story of downer Thomas today, we all know what it is like to have Eeyore in the room…or at least the post-modern prophet who thinks it is a virtue to constantly question everything; to act as if could go this way or that, no one really knows for sure; to deconstruct, to break it all down to a progressive golden calf. It always comes out the same when you throw the gold in the fire.
Doubt is not a virtue. It is not holy to not know. It is rebellious to refuse to know what God has revealed.
(Always ask your questions, your questions are always welcome. Questions are very important for learning. That's a topic for another day).
Refuse unbelief because you believe in Jesus. That's the whole point of this whole gospel, good answers serve to build your understanding on a personal faith in the resurrected Jesus.
